Welcome to piggy roo! My name is Linda, and like all moms, I wanted to find the best playthings to stimulate and educate my two children. After trudging from one store to another, I became discouraged and weary of the endless supply of mindless computer games and cheap, breakable toys that didn't last a season of hands-on play.

How Did You Come Up With That Name?
Everyone's curious about how we came up with the name "piggy roo". When my father-in-law was a young boy, he was taught a little poem about his toes. Jay continues the tradition with our children. Whenever he visits, he holds a barefoot grandchild on his lap and
squeezes each toe as he names them, starting with the little toe:
"Iggy Pea, Piggy Roo, Rudy Russell, Norma Thistle and the Great Ooombumbo."
The latter is always accented by wiggling
the child's big toe rather excitedly, which results in much giggling from the kids. We've heard different variations over the years, but this one is ours.
